The Future of Computer Gaming
Sooner or later, the game to play probably won't be any of the quakes, and it probably won't be a FPS game, but one thing is for sure, Computer Gaming will most likely turn into a highly spectated event.

A lot of gamers have foreseen this as well, Hoony, for example, had a vision of QuakeTV, in which a program on TV would be completely designated to spectating Quake games, and doing live interviews from the top players. While that's a very accurate thought, he is missing one thing:

Quake will NOT be as big as it was, ever again.

Quake revolutionized the way we look at games, you cannot deny that. Sure, Wolfenstein, DooM, and DooM2 were the first "really good" FPS games for the PC, but I didn't see someone win a Ferrari from playing Computer games until Quake, did you?

Quake can't last forever, almost all the US Quake playing friends I have, are SICK of the whole style of Quake, and want to move on. New games will come, and all of us will go our separate ways.

In the future, I'm thinking within 5 years or so, America will hold a tournament for the most popular computer game (whatever it is at the time). It will probably go in this format:

Every 1 of the 50 states will have a tournament within that state, over the Internet. Once the winners of each of those tournaments are announced, they will be sent somewhere to have a 50 player tournament, and the winner of that tournament, will be announced the best player, and win something huge, whether it be 100,000 dollars, or 4 Ferraris, I don't know, but it will be BIG.

The best thing about this tournament is that hardly anyone could complain about lag. Having 1 to 5 servers in each state from east, west, north, south, and central, is excellent, you would have no trouble finding a great ping.

And no doubt, this tournament would be televised because of the huge prizes, thus encouraging people who don't have a CLUE about computer games, to participate in this Tournament, and making computer gaming even BIGGER. After this event takes place, there will be several other events like this all around the world. Maybe not on the same computer game, but definitely in the same type of format.

After that, the computer gaming scene will be BOOMING, and I'm pretty sure, in America, the decade of 00 - 10 will probably be named after computer gaming.

And hey, maybe computer geeks will be the future sex symbols of the new Millenium! (*Crosses fingers*)  I can see it now, PCGamer will be like most of those magazines devoted to looking sexy and selling things you don't want.

Quake: Am I Dead Yet?
I haven't mentioned this before, because it wasn't really that bad. But, with the win32 release of Quake3:Arena right under our noses (or so we are told), most of us have just stopped playing quake. I may have said this before, but I was definitely over exaggerating. Even the USA team, which is scheduled to play the Euro select team in July, has pretty much given up the long lasting soap opera that is quake.

Matches and duels are scarce, before most of us had to dodge these requests, frequently giving bad excuses. Now I find myself wanting to weasel about and find a duel, but alas, nobody ever replies.

The Game of quake must surely be dead, or am I wrong?

People have tried for YEARS to announce the game is dead, only to find that - hey, maybe it isn't so bad. Most of these people have been those who are just sick of it. They don't want to hear about it anymore. The slow painful death of Quake started awhile ago, when all of the USA Quake sites turned into Hardware and general Gaming news sites. Most likely because they still wanted a popular page, and while most of us are saying "Why don't you say something about quake?", really, there is nothing to say.

I don't believe there is ONE qwdm tournament out there in the US, right now. Now most people will be thinking, "Let's just make a tournament!". Although you don't see it, it has been tried.

Nobody ever signs up, because of lack of interest. After all of the tournaments that offered prizes to Quake1 players had diminished. Most of us moved to Quake2, only to try and find that shiny red Ferrari somewhere within the dirty jungle of the PC gaming world.

Whether it's because of the college kids losing their connects for the summer and finally not being able to tolerate the 200 ping in a game they can't stand, or just because of "personal reasons" (translation: Q3A)

I Will finally admit it now, the Quake scene in the US has maybe a month or two left in it, and then it will breathe it's final breath, which will hopefully be rapture99. And after that, who knows.

Finally Interviewed
My first interview! Gobo interviewed Gemini and I for Challenge.AU

It went pretty smooth, I was feeling very witty that night, so the timing was just perfect. Although Gemini seemed pretty closed minded, as he usually is, he made lots of very good points, most of which I agree 100% with. You can check it out here.

Speaking of interviews, hey Moon$hine, when are you gonna interview me, huh? :)

Speaking of Endings
On the note of endings, as most everything has to come to an end. This will be my last update on Methos Quake. It's been a great experience for me, and I want to thank everyone on the Methos team separately.

Gobo - Thanks for jamming with me at the TGI, and always having something clever to say when I'm feeling down. And that whole interview thing with gem and me was pretty leet.

Spookie - For talking to me about my current situation with The Rangers, and being the original Online Casanova.

Paul2 - For never hesitating to call me a cunt.

Last but not least, I'd like to thank Methos for giving me this editorial. Although it was a very short period, it was sure fun. Thanks for tolerating me for as long as you did, and for every thing else you've done for me.

For those of you who care, I will be writing for TrueGamers now, I might even have a column over there, so look for me.

It's been a great experience, and I enjoyed every second of it.

Werd.

Eye Yam Clanless
Well, I quit The Rangers, my former QWDM clan in the USA. Being the youngest member in such a serious / mature clan was pretty hard on me. Too many rules and what not. I just wanna say Thank you, to The Rangers, who taught me a lot of lessons in life and didn't hesitate to tell me when I did something wrong. A very big thank you to my former Ranger clan mate, Kauffee - Thanks for everything! Keep in touch, Matt.

As far as clans go, I'm currently open to any USA QWDM clan that would like to have me on their team.

Q3Test Released!
For Mac.

Ultimate Quake Poll 3
Cute little poll went on at Methos' site.

I glanced over the results, pretty surprised that ALOT of Americans voted. I didn't know that many Americans still had Quake 1 installed on their systems. Kind of surprising really. And if a lot of Americans voted, this only leads to Thresh getting a lot of votes in almost every category. I contacted Methos about the poll and asked him how many votes I got all together. If I remember correctly it's 9 votes. Three votes for best DM3 player, 3 for best DM4 player, 2 for Favorite Quake Personality, and 1 for Most Annoying Quake Personality. Thanks guys! Though I pretty much suck in the only demo available to you on dm3 :)

Some things I do want to note, though.

LPB or HPB? This one REALLY surprised me, it's almost EXACTLY split down the middle! I haven't figured this one out yet, the guys at college here in America who have elite T1/T3 access aren't out of school yet, really odd one here.

GL or SW? More and more people using GLquake, probably because it's dodgy.

FOV Used When Playing? People still use FOV 90? Probably because of the many American voters.

Best LPB? Laker pretty much owned this category.

Best HPB? Laker still obviously the winner, but I'm very happy Gemini got a lot of votes :)

Best DM6 Player? Gemini could probably beat Lakerman and Kane on dm6, DO NOT QUOTE ME ON THAT! JUST TALKING JIBBERISH AGAIN!

Favorite Quake Personality? sCary remains everyone's favorite personality, for good reason too, this guy owns.

Most Annoying Quake Personality? Thresh remains everyone's favorite Chew toy.

Will You Switch To Q3A? Excellent, I personally think it will suck, looks like I'll have about 4,000 guys to play with internationally :D

Best 1on1 Player Of All Time? Wow! Sweet choice guys, I couldn't have thought of 4 better people for this category.

Person/Player That Changed Quake The Most? Again, GREAT choices! Though I think Zoid changed the game itself more then anyone, while Thresh changed the way we look at the game.

Quote of the Week
<Izn0> no cata, wrong.
<Izn0> ur a god, period.

One Last Thing...
For god's sake America quit using that gay QWCOMP Mod and use a REAL QWDM Modification! KTeams!

TGI
The True Gamers Invitational was held too long ago, and I am slow, so I'll just give my opinions on the tournament.

Went smooth enough, players did good enough. was fun enough, I had a good time. That's it.

By the way, Kane, you're still the man, even though you spawned in the same place 3 times, in my mind, you're still the best there was, and the best there will ever be.

Sweden 'OFF' Game of CTF1
Heh, I seem to find ways of playing on foriegn servers at least once a month. So anyway, my friends and I (Blaq, Ultimo, Frost, all from the well known USA QWCTF clan PredictioN) played OFF on the Informatik Sweden QWCTF servers.

It was some fun shit, I didn't hear any whining from OFF. Infact, they were nice enough to let us pick the map! We picked CTF1, I didn't have a loc so I had to quick run around and mark the bastard up before the game started.

Now, Blaq and Frost are well known QWCTF hpbs, like they never ping under 200 over here, and suprsingly, Blaq pinged about 260 or so (!) to the informatik servers. Frost, on the other hand, he pinged about 500.

Back to the game.

It started up and our format was basically 2 on defense and 2 on offense, Frost and I on Defense, Blaq and Ultimo on Offense.

They had other plans (god you can just see me trying to make this thing exciting for all you non-ctfers, just bare with me, I'm SURE I'll have something interesting below). They had 1 guy immediatly go for the flag, and the rest stay on Defense.

Anyway, to make this long story short, Frost, even with his 400 ping, beat the living shit out of everyone, including his teammates. So that was fun.

Blaq and Ultimo pretty much owned the other teams defense with very well coordinated attacks from the front and back. It was obvious at this point that OFF didn't stand a chance, I think they captured the flag once.

To sum it up, my friend Blaq will do the honors:

<blaq> The swedes were unable to come up with the solution to the "asian equation", as they were nigged by the chink barrage commanded by the mad asian himself, Don_Frostu (aka Frost for those of you who are dOrks :p)

9 vs USA?
Xenon from clan 9 contacted me about maybe flying them over to the USA, more specifically Dallas, TX (So they could maybe check out some leet Q3A action).

Heh, that's as much as I know right now, I directed him to Thresh and Hobbes. I hope this happens, would be nice to see 9vsUSA in June, and USA vs Euro Select in July.

Gobo Speaks The Truth
My friend Blaq, the northern Canadian qwctf pimp from the frozen tundra, gave me this bit of information:

<blaq`> What a fucking JOKE. Most of you "daily news sites"
<blaq`> owe your very EXISTENCE to Quake and its players, yet you pretty much diss or ignore the thing
<blaq`> until its all over.
<blaq`> my god gobo is so right

Werd Gobo, you've done me proud.

Bleat
Well, looks like I've finally got a set USA team. A lot of modifications have been made from what I had hinted at earlier.

For one, sCary will not be attending, because I felt he didn't seem entirely interested, and he also wasn't willing to dedicate time to the team (or that's the impression I got, anyway)

Another surprise is, the leader of the WDT USA team, nB`hobbes, is now co-leading with me. When I contacted him about this, he was extremely keen and knew exactly what he wanted to do, I feel this was a great move on my part, for we've moved ahead far faster with him along.

The USA team is as follows:
[R2]Cataklysque - Captain
nB`hobbes - Captain
nB`Batch
EG-Gemini
D11-Thresh

Yes, Thresh will be attending. We talked to him last night, he told us that he will attend, but he won't dedicate any time into QW until the rapture sponsors are set. We are currently practicing on how to shoot our shotguns. It's really hard. :)

On another note, I heard their were no Twinkies™ in the UK. This disturbs me. The entire USA team almost considered not attending because of this. I mean, what would we possibly do without our Twinkies™? The soft sponge cake, the sweet cream filling...

Then, as wise as he is, Hobbes, spoke up and said

"we can just bring our own Twinkies"

"Yay!" the crowd yelled.

What a genius.

USA Vs Euro Style
Only one big thing here, I heard pent in Europe is at 10 minutes and not 5 like it is in the US. Sounds like some nazi organization against pentagram to me. Really makes lockdowns easier if you put the time up to 10 minutes. Someone with pent could take over the game, easy.

Maybe John Carmack moved to Europe, and soon enough we'll see Quad down to Triple damage.

Gemini Owns Me
God, ever see the Gaij Vs Gemini demo? He gets 80 some frags in a 20 minute duel on DM6. How crazy is that?! I played him some today...Was pretty uhm...interesting.

Let's just say I was "0s0 0wn0r3d" and leave it at that.

Skinner
OMG ROTFL, If you haven't done so already download this mp3. This has to be the funniest bit in an mp3 that I've heard in awhile. God, I love the part when he goes "I'm invincible!...Oh you lucky cunt! I had red armor and everything!"

Rapture99
Man, what an awesome idea! UK Quake player, Nightwing showed me this link earlier (www.rapture99.com) and man, so far it looks very promising!

Heres the deal, Lakerman picked a team of 5 players (including himself) to play against 5 of the top US players in Edinburg, Scotland. All the players get to stay in one of the top hotels in Edinburg. How leet!

Laker's team so far is:

Lakerman_of_SC (Captain), [9] Xenon, Cable-Z, Blitzer-Z, [SK] Kane. (Not a bad team, eh?)

Nightwing also spoke to me about me putting together a USA team. Wow. My first thought was to talk to sCary, and see if he wanted to lead the team, seeing how if he messaged someone about playing in a big tournament, they would take him seriously, as oppose to them laughing at me :). So immediatly I msg'd sCary, and we talked about ideas, and how we're going to get our team. The players we immediatly thought about were the QW stars, such as Pure, Gemini, etc. So we had a good idea of who the others were going to be.

Naturally, I was overjoyed so, I quickly msg'd Methos and told him what my position was in this awesome tourney. After I finished bragging, I asked him if he had an idea of 3 other players.

Thresh, RiX, Gemini, B2, Unholy...

OMG? HOW COULD I HAVE FORGOTTEN ABOUT THRESH?! I mean, he usually plays NQ, but he MIGHT be going to TGI Right? Why the hell not ask him eh?

This put a whole new perspective on the team. I immediatly became overwhelmed at the thought of being able to play ALONG SIDE these players. Wow, is all I have to say.

Thresh and RiX are definate choices for the team. We'd both love to see Thresh and RiX on the team and we can decide the other players as we go.

So far sCary and I have made NO progress (suprise!). But we do plan on going on a joint-leadership type thing.

Gobo Is Cool
Finally had a chance to talk with my co-writer on Methos Quake. I didn't hear him whine once, which was exactly the opposite of what I figured. I thought it might go like this.

<[R2]Cataklysque> werd gobo
<Gobo> Man, I hate the NO QUAD NAZI, I swear, everytime I try to play on an FFA server I hear those loud mouth blokes.
<[R2]Cataklysque> Uh, yeah. They're um, less than cool.
<Gobo> And those friggin' conspiracy theorists! Everytime I shaft someone in RA I get the "AIMBOT!" razz, just because i have a 1 million ping, and know how to play the game.
<[R2]Cataklysque> umm...ok
<Gobo> You were thinking about Q3A weren't you? Thinking about how the Beta will kill QW? HA! Silly peon! I laugh in your face!
*** Gobo has quit irc (Bloody online cassanova)

heh, but no, it went more like this:

<[R2]Cataklysque> werd Gobo
<Gobo> werd.
<[R2]Cataklysque> You're column is too good.
<Gobo> I am the RA Shaft master.
<[R2]Cataklysque> Send some visiters my way eh?
<Gobo> Will do.

Or something along those lines. He and I had some deep conversations about TGI, He's quite sure that Laker is going to win, (OMG! NOT RELOAD? YOU'RE NOT FROM AUSTRAILIA GOBO! YOU DON'T FOOL ME!) not a bad choice. Some day I may tell you who I think is going to win, once I figure it out. I'll tell you in July.

Windows Leaves Cat Quakeless for 3 days.
Omg, it's almost to hard to even speak about...everytime I try to dial in with my isdn I get...

"Error 654: The microsoft Dial-Up Adapter is not responding, or is not properly installed. Reinstall and try again"

I TRIED 50 TIMES! I EVEN FORMATTED!

Sigh, if anyone has any help for me, gimme a buzz at cataklysque@barrysworld.com

Paul2 Is Cool
I also talked to an ex-co-writer-to-be on #quake.uk, I thought he was just a queer that said "cunt" alot and spoke of "tyro" more than need be, I figured it would go like this:

<Paul2[moo]> CAT
<Paul2[moo]> FUCK OFF CUNT
<[R2]Cataklysque> Hey bud! What's happenin over there in the UK?
<Paul2[moo]> DID YOU NOT HEAR ME? FUCK OFF!
<[R2]Cataklysque> Aww, you're too kind!
<Paul2[moo]> I'D CUNT YOU THUROUGHLY IF YOU WERE WORTH IT
<[R2]Cataklysque> Really? Thanks man!

But no, I was pleasently suprised it went like this:

<Paul2[moo]> CAT
<Paul2[moo]> FUCK OFF CUNT
<[R2]Cataklysque> Hey bud! What's happenin over there in the UK?
<Paul2[moo]> DID YOU NOT HEAR ME? FUCK OFF!
<[R2]Cataklysque> Aww, you're too kind!
<Paul2[moo]> I'D CUNT YOU THUROUGHLY IF YOU WERE WORTH IT
<[R2]Cataklysque> Really? Thanks man!

Bottom line: Paul2 rules.

Until next time, um...stay in school?

Idiots Killed The IRC Star
God I love getting home from school, hopping on a US irc server and getting "....."

AWESOME! (btw, usually when I put things in caps, it means I'm being sarcastic) HOW COOL CAN YOU GET?

Hey guys! Wanna scrim?

"....."

WOOT!

Ok, I may be over exaggerating, I think sometimes someone says "hi" or something. Anyway, there is a REAL difference between USA and European IRC chatter. In Europe, they talk about quake. In the USA, we talk about 3dfx benchmarks. WOW, SO COOL. Come on, why do I need to hear about lame benchmarks? If I am gonna go buy a card or something, I'll find webpage or GIVE THEM A FUCKING CALL. I don't need "Oh oh, I hear the Riva TNT is good for D3D games but Voodoo2 is better for Quake". GREAT! NEXT TIME I BUY A VIDEO CARD I'LL KEEP THAT IN MIND! THAT HELPS ME FIND A SCRIMMAGE.

9 Vs UK
9 Won.

Being An Idiot
Are you an idiot? Are you not able to talk to people on IRC because you lack social skills?

SIMPLE!

Follow my 4 step plan.

Anytime someone says something, you can say

  1. Hi, Thanks.
  2. DAMNIT!
  3. K, Bye
  4. Really? I never knew that!

Like right now, you could say "Really? I never knew that, Cata!"

And I would go

"Hi, Thanks."

Read My Page, Damnit!
Ok, Stop reading Gobo's page. He's obviously much more intelligent than all of you and makes it pretty clear. He wants to rape you and steal your children. :)

Myself, on the other hand...

I like you, you're probably smarter than me. You look great in that shirt! Is that a new cologne? Nice shoes!

Come to Cataklysque's Corridor, "because we care"™.

My Name? WTF?
Hey, I forgot to explain how I got my name!

For one, let's look at the root word, Cataclysm. This means World Destruction, The addition to it, "que" Is pretty pointless, what it basically means is a creature who would create world destruction.

My friend, Tre, actually helped me make it up, if you wanna skip my lame BS, and check out Tre, Scroll down.

R3V wins QIL2
I was like, OMG!™ R3Volution (sCary's clan) won the biggest QWLPB Tournament in the USA! The tourney was split up into 2 divisions, East and West with about 10 teams on each. R3volution took the west division title, while Versus took the east.

When they played, it was hard to say who was going to win. Versus is well known for *cough* cheating, err I mean winning a lot of games...um yeah, I covered that up. So anyway, Versus, being the uh, good clan that they are figured they were going to win easy. Wrong! R3V had a secret weapon >:o!

He's mean, vicious, evil...and likes to play in the snow, drink chocolate milk, and get big hugs. This evil man's name is PURE.

He friggin' ripped up Versus like there was no tomorrow. The guy is a NUTCASE. I plan to interview him soon. Anyway, R3V won 2-0. Yay.

Check out www.qil.gibbed.com for more info.

Quake 3 Arena
Ok, Methos says that it's gonna rule, sCary says it's good, Batch says it's good, Thresh is an idiot...Shaft is back, Ok, I think I'm finally convinced.

BUT

I don't know what it's gonna be like with the 600ms bullshit, REAL turnoff. Whatever happened to slamming some loser into a corner and pinning him with the shaft?

I, for one, wouldn't mind playing QWDM for the rest of my LIFE. I am STILL not sick of this game. Some guys in the US are just floating around, waiting for Q3A while I'm still flying around IRC chans yelling

"4on4? 1on1? pickup?" Some bots in IRC Kick/ban you for saying pickup, how bad is that?! Now I can understand how some guys I know just don't like the game, but why do they even hang out in the IRC chans if they hate all of us AND the game?!

Umm., Ok I'll be honest I just forgot my point. But I'm sure it was cool, so just imagine.

Tre's Rants

Tre is a very good friend of mine, he made my lame logo, so I decided to give him a weekly/monthly (whatever) section on my lame site that no one reads :)

Here he goes.

QWEEKER (Q-week-ūr) - My definition of one, whom revolves his/her life around the dirty bowels of ID Software's Quake.

"HI THERE. I PLAY QUAKE, I AM DA SHAFTER! WANNA RIDE MY ROCKET? SHURE YOU DO!" The words of a Qweeker, probably what a Qweeker would say to pick up chicks. What is a Qweeker, you ask? (Look above) You know what kind of people I'm talking about, they're the people that revolve their lives around Quake, nonstop. If you've played Internet Quake, you can safely say you've run across quite a few, even though you may not have noticed it.

Try joining a real intense game of FFA - oh, what's that? You got your ass kicked SEVERELY by some trash-talking guy that calls you a bitch every other second? Qweeker, hands down. How did he become so good? Where did he learn these moves? They adapt it from their own trial-and error tricks that they learn, staying up 18 hours a day, playing you guessed it, Quake.

But if these people can play Quake, how come they can't obtain social lives? Because their fat asses haven't stepped foot out of their houses since '96. They've been sitting in front of their overclocked Celeron 300a's with their 16 meg Voodoo2's, eating a couple boxes of Twinkies a day, and wiping the 'anticipation' sweat off of their coke-bottle glasses. They're going to lead such a fun future. (Too bad ID doesn't pay you to do their beta-testing, nor masturbating at their best female skins). QWEEKERS CAN EAT MY CHEESE

Mail Me (trecool@mindless.com) so I can make fun of you.

Note: Tre quit Quake 1 year ago, he doesn't care if you think he sucks at Quake.

»»» Thursday, February 25, 1999 «««

Yeah, Hi, Thanks
Hey, I'm not real good at intros, so lemme just tell a little about myself.

My name is Cataklysque (Cat-A-Kleesk) and I'm in the USA QWDM clan, The Rangers. You can probably find me on irc.gamesnet.net as [R2]Cataklysque or sometimes on irc.thedbs.com with the same name.

I live in Wisconsin, USA. It's a boring place, usually known for cheese. (No joke)

Anyway, enough about me, on with the good stuff.

USA Vs UK
I was hanging out on quakenet talking to a friend of mine and he was saying how all the ClanUK guys were at Nightwing’s for a weekend practice type deal. He suggested that I challenged them to a 4on4 with some USA guys.

So I rustled up some guys(Scumdog, Hobbes, Crazy) from the semi-well-known™ clan Negative Burn. We met at one of the best known USA servers, "DROW - REJECTED".

The UK team had pings around 130 to 160, Not bad at all. On the other hand, 2 of our players had under 50 pings throughout the whole match I think (too bad I wasn't one of them).

Surprisingly, I didn't hear ONE bad thing out of the UK team's mouth, they just said "yeah yeah, let's just go"

So we got our positions straight and we all "Readied up", and took the field! (the "field" being DM3) I was assigned the RA position in which I had to camp spawns and hurt my fellow teammates a lot. (HEH)

USA Dominated really quickly, despite the guy spectating who was telling everyone that they cheated.

(lamespec: CAT USES WALLHACKS SO DOES SCUMDOG)

To make a super-long story short, USA won both games with relative ease.

Anyway, Methos probably uploaded the demos somewhere. They're both through my POV, watch as I own Hobbes over and over.

Now comes the boring part which most of you won't read, yeah, the disclaimer.

  1. The UK team had 150 pings
  2. We had 2 players with 60 pings
  3. They would've spanked us with even pings

Is that enough? I think so. If any "panties are in a wad" please hesitate to email me.

Euro Vs USA Style
This also brings me to a point, the differences between the Europe quake scene and the USA scene, Let me just list them off, I'll explain them elaborately afterwards.

  1. The US believes proxies are Cheating
  2. The US finds SG scripts lame (Doh! my demo shows me using an Sg script!)
  3. We place a guy in the box on dm3 as a position
  4. The US doesn't think that the shotgun is an effective weapon
  5. Having an ISDN in the US isn't considered "leet"
  6. Guys in the US aren't friendly
  7. All the people in the US do is whine

Ok, here we go.

The US Believes proxies are cheating: The first impression we got of the proxy was the powerup timer, it had to go immediately. People are still stubborn to this DAY and won't even consider using one, even though all the proxies don't have them anymore.

The US Finds SG scripts LAME: Ok, I can understand this one, but why be so against it? I've never seen anyone go crazy over a script more than the US has, ever. I have a hard time using one in tournaments sometimes, the fact that I'm not a key player helps, because they don't spec me often, but still, it gets noticed.

We place a guy in the box on dm3 as a position: I don't find this weird, but when I told Sujoy and Acq about this, they cracked up and made fun of me :( Oh well, now that I look at it, 2 RA 2 YA seems better anyway. What are we thinking?! "Uh hi I have RL, and I have 0 armor, I pose a real threat."(sarcasm).

The US doesn't think that the shotgun is an effective weapon: Ok, When DR faced 9, they'd never seen the shotgun used like that! They were all in awe as they were cut down by the 10 ton force of 9.

Having and ISDN in the US isn't considered "leet": The US is big, having an isdn won't get us a ping under 60 for over 3 seconds. Plus it only costs me about 30 dollars a month. You guys in the UK get like 20 pings, I hate you all. (Don't take it personally, I just want your connections :P)

Guys in the US aren't friendly: Don't try to talk to us. We're all mean ol' nasty trolls. Including Thresh, he started the trend.

All the people in the US do is whine: See? Look at me go, Sheesh, I've been writing this for an hour now! You'd think I'd have something better to do then whine? Truth is, I don't. So hrmph :P

That's all that I can think of off the top of my head right now, this is a subject I hit on a lot, so count on getting this daily.

That's it for now, Toodles!
